Abstract

The RS Solar Program is an initiative that establishes governance amongst business leaders, associations, governments, academies, and society in Rio Grande do Sul to strengthen the solar energy and energy efficiency sector in the state. Established in December 2019, the RS Program aims to encourage and develop actions to improve the business environment and the sustainable development of the segment as a whole. During its period of operation, RS Solar has already gathered 25 institutions that meet periodically with the aim of articulating with local social actors, activities or demands that may bring greater clarity and opportunities for debates, collaborating with actions, plans, laws, and regulations in the state and country solar energy sector.
