THEORYCAL AND EXPERIMENTAL SOLAR RESOURCE IN CATAMARCA CITY

The work shows results of measurements of global solar radiation data on horizontal plane, using equipment located at the National University of Catamarca and a comparative study with values obtained from other sources. The measuring device is constituted by a LI-200 associated with a pyranometer LogBox - AA-32K-IP65 programmed to automatically store data every ten minutes. Calibration of the Pyranometer is performed in the Department of Physics at National University of Salta and installed in the city of San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca. The equipment began operations in August 2014, and now we have data from a year. The device works properly and it is located in a safe place without accidental shaded. It shows some preliminary results and graphics.
