Abstract

In Brazil, most of the Institutions measures solar radiation and they just make available data of global radiation in a horizontal surface. In the area of Pelotas-RS, the Estação Agroclima- tológica de Pelotas, linked Embrapa, it has the data of global solar radiation daily estimated since 1971 up to 1992 and measured starting from 1993. The design methodology of the solar systems compares the demand of energy requested by the user with the incident solar energy in the solar system.
