Abstract

In this paper the influence of some atmospheric parameters and local aspects in the spectral solar radiation for different tilted surfaces is addressed. An analysis of the influence of aerosols, precipitable water and total ozone as major meteorological parameters that affect the distribution of the solar spectral irradiance was also performed. The effects of imprecise spectral reflectance data of the foreground on the solar spectral irradiance are discussed. Measurements obtained with the spectral radiometer and the spectroradiometer, together with simulations employing the code SMARTS2 (Simple Model for the Atmospheric Radiative Transfer of Sunshine), demonstrated the influence of local and atmospherics parameters for describing the spectral distribution of the solar irradiance.
