Collector tests are accomplished actually in most of the test institutes under outdoor test conditions. Traditionally these tests are accomplished under steady state test conditions - SST, (standard ISO 9806). Hard limited test conditions are necessary for the execution of this collector test. High stability for the solar radiation and other ambient conditions, like ambient temperature and wind speed, are consequently necessary.
