SISTEMA FOTOVOLTAICO DE ILUMINAÇÃO PÚBLICA DE ALTA FREQUENCIA PARA LÂMPADAS FLUORESCENTES COMPACTAS

In this paper, the development, implementation and tests results of the conditioning and advantageous use of PV energy in public lightening systems is presented. Such a system is composed by a charge and discharge controller, a photocell and a high frequency CC/CC converter to energize fluorescent lamps. The developed system is very competitive once that it has a low cost, small size and it’s very simple and easy to be constructed. A prototype test is used to evaluate the project’s performance.
