Abstract

This article describes the design of a microcontrolled system for remote solarimetric data acquisition. The system has a base station connected to a central computer through the USB protocol that monitors the remote units located in its range via radio communication. In order to increase the autonomy of the remote stations were included extra memory devices to the system that may be of two types:EEPROM or SD cards. The project was planned to provide an user ́s configurable and low cost alternative.
