This work presents a description of a spectral-radiometer developed for the analysis of the solar radiation in the range of 0.4 μm to 1.55 μm. With this instrument, it will be possible to investigate the influence of the various components of the atmosphere on the solar radiation yielding the ground. This is very important because the performances of solar systems, converting radiation into heat or into current, depend directly on the spectral composition of the incident solar radiation.
