In the solar energy use in buildings, in template climate, it is necessary solar windows oriented towards the Equator, in order to gain energy in winter time. During summer time, it is necessary to shade this windows in order to avoid beam solar energy into the building. The spreading element to protect windows are the fixed horizontal overhand. In thie work is proposed an alternative windows that is auto-shaded and avoid the construction of overhand. It is presented the energetic balance of different windows for the case of Mendoza city, Argentine. It is possible to observe that this alternative windows are 20% lower that vertical windows in the winter months. In summer time, energy gained by two windows are similar. It is presented the case of incorporate windows in elevated buildings.
