MODELLING AND CONTROLLED DOUBLYFED INDUCTION GENERATOR USING A LINEAR QUADRATIC METHOD IN A WIND ENERGY APPLICATION

The present article shows some conceptions for connection of a doubly-fed induction gen- erator (DFIG) in wind energy and the modeling and simulation of induction generator and the rotor power converter in a grid connection and the rotor power converter in a grid connection. In the control strategy is substituted the traditionally control used with PI o PID for a quadratic linear controller (LQR).
