Abstract

This work evaluated the to annual evolution of the daily monthly medium global irradiations incident in tilted surfaces to 12.85º, 22.85º and 32.85º, facing towards the North, in Botucatu, São Paulo State, Brazil. They were utilized measures of global irradiations in the surfaces tilted and horizontal of 04/1998 to 08/2001 for 22.85º; 09/2001 to 02/2003 for 12.85º and 01/2004 to 12/2007 for 32.85º. The levels of global irradiation in the plan slanted were lower in the period of summer and upper between the equinoxes, with tendency of increase of the differences with the development of the inclination. The monthly medium maximum peaks verified in the inclinations were of 22.04; 22.64 and 21.82 MJ m-2 day-1, occurred in September, April and August, whereas the most minimum peaks were of 16.08; 17.00 and 16.39 MJ m-2 day-1 in the months of May, June and January for 12.85º, 22.85º and 32.85º, respectively. In the horizontal surfaces were verified maximum and minimum of 23.64 and 12.95 MJ m-2 day-1, in November and June. The monthly medium values of clearness indexes were superiors in the tilted surfaces us months of spring and summer and lower in the months of fall and winter.
