Continuing the work begun in 2012 to evaluate the perception of the benefit of using solar heating systems in the homes of the “Minha Casa Minha Vida” held in the South, Southeast and Midwest regions, the partnership between Caixa Econômica Federal and researchers at the Centro Universitário UNA assessed households with solar heating systems in the North and Northeast regions. The survey, conducted in 2014, showed that the level of satisfaction is 76.7% and the main perceived benefit is the improvement on quality of life.
