This paper presentes the investigation results of the generation potential of five different PV technologies (a- Si, a-Si/μc-Si, CIGS, m-Si and c-Si), each with an installed power of approximately 2kWp. This PV system is located in Bahia, at the city of Brotas de Macaúbas. For the analyzed period, global tilted irradiation data varied, approximately 2% between measured and estimated data by the brazilian solar energy atlas. The annual tilted irradiation value for the year of 2014 was 2246 kWh/m².year, with about 27% of the irradiance having a level equal or superior to the standard value 1000 W/m². The technologies with best performance were a-Si, m-Si e c-Si. However, the crystalline sylicon technologies, due to the cell layout of their PV modules, during the periods with high incidence of soiling, had the biggest performance drop.
