The grid connected photovoltaic power system aims at converting solar energy into electricity. Due to the growing demand for clean energy, micro-inverter are being developed to meet the demands of a population that requires a small amount of energy and areas of difficult access where there is no need for large installations . This study shows the energy analysis of a system of PV generation, consisting of one module and a microinversor connected to the grid, based on indices of merit determined by the European Economic Community (CEC - Joint Research Centre, 1993, apud Oliveira, 2002). The study was conducted in an experimental setting. The analysis was divided into typical days, sunny, partly cloudy and overcast, aiming to estimate the values of energy injected into the electric grid for each day in question, knowing also what were the main system losses and to estimate how much the economy could have a low income family whose energy consumption is in the range of 100 kWh per month. Designing a saving of approximately 30 %, the energy values were generated according to the expected, having a higher production for sunny days due to the incident on the module. However, there were overcast days where the radiation system is not connected.
