Abstract

A photovoltaic panel has different operating points that vary depending on climatic conditions. In a PV system seeks to extract the maximum possible power of a solar panel for that search algorithms for maximum power point ( MPPT - Maximum Power Point Tracker ) are used . The maximum power point calculated by an algorithm is used as input to the control system. In this work were evaluated four proposed algorithms in the literature on a system connected to the grid, with power of 20kW. The algorithms were: Constant Voltage, Perturb and Observe, Incremental Conductance and Ripple Correlation. The control was made by calculating the maximum power and the voltage referencing a DC-AC inverter which is then connected to the network. The control uses the reference given by the MPPT in a system formed by a control loop of the DC bus voltage, a reactive power loop and DSOGI-PLL (Double Second Order Generalized Integrator) for the orientation angle of the dq system. This system generates a voltage value for SVPWM (Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation) controlling the output voltage of the inverter. This system was simulated and evaluated how each method affects the energy produced. For each algorithm, we analyzed the power, current and voltage of the PV panel, the active and reactive power in the grid beyond the levels of harmonic distortion.
