This paper presents the performance comparison of some mathematical models used in the simulation of solar photovoltaic panels. In order to perform the analysis, three models available in literature and also the physical model of the panel in software PSIM® are used. The obtained results regarding I×V and P×V curves are presented for each one of the aforementioned models are presented, while some advantages and eventual limitations are discussed.
