This article presents a study on the possible configurations of photovoltaic solar modules applied in solar boats. An array of four modules of low power (10 Watts) was connected in different ways and tests were conducted using a data acquisition system designed for this purpose. Assays were performed by connecting modules (pairs) in series and in parallel, comparing the results with the performance of the individual module. Finally, it can be concluded on the power generated by the system under different conditions of sunlight and shade, in addition to parametric variations of elements of the same characteristics. The experimental results show that the array in parallel allows obtaining greater powers in matching with the array series and series-parallel of photovoltaic modules.
