Climatic aspects influence performance parameters of solar panels. Therefore, the study of these parameters must be carried out considering the region of operation, especially in countries with a large territorial extension, such as Brazil. Furthermore, the influence of climatic aspects may be different for each solar cell technology (monocrystalline or polycrystalline). In this work, data were collected from a BYD experimental solar power plant, located in the city of Campinas, São Paulo, in part of October 2020, October 2021 and October 2022. The panels used have different angles of incidence, heights and cell technologies. The analysis of angles and heights was necessary only to discern the influence of these parameters, in relation to climatic aspects and cell technologies. A calculation methodology was used on the data, with the aim of obtaining global values and Performance Ratio (PR) curves as a function of time. The results from each period were compared and analyzed considering environmental variables, such as temperature, irradiance, precipitation, relative humidity and wind speed, as well as cell technologies. As this is a first study of data from the mentioned solar power plant, referring to short periods, the conclusions were directed to the influence of the parameters mentioned in the PR, on energy generation and on the average power of the periods in the present.
